Job Description

Our client is a high growth Logistics business headquartered in Slough, providing a wide range of technology and supply chain services to multiple sectors and organizations in the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing the completion of tax and regulatory submissions
• Direct Tax calculations and required filings
• Timely and accurate production and filing of VAT returns for all group entities, liaising with HMRC and European VAT advisors as required
• Review of balance sheet VAT account and reconciliations
• Completion of inter-company reconciliations
• Review and implement process improvements within the management accounting team to enhance the procedures for inter-company transactions
• Assist the Group Financial Controller with statutory reporting and managing the external audit
• Support the Group Head of Tax with various Tax Initiatives
• Work with consultants on transfer pricing polices

Basic salary up to £60,000, Bonus, Pension and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have completed a chartered accountancy or tax qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CTA) and will have proven experience in Direct and Indirect tax responsibilities, along with core technical accounting knowledge. You will also enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
