Job Description
- Representing the Leasing Accounting team and actively engaging with a variety of stakeholders within the business, including technology and administrative team on business integration projects
- Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
- Direct responsibility for improving accounting processes and controls for a company with a high volume of transactions.
- Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through to testing and launch.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and an understanding of data warehousing
- Worked in a fast-paced company similar to a high-tech start-up
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Has an aptitude for information technology
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exposure to researching accounting conclusions, documenting support for conclusions reached
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial reporting tools
- Entrepreneurial, hands on, can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box
- Proven ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluent English being mandatory
- A strong desire to exceed expectations
- Solid organizational, project management skills, and information technology aptitude
