Job Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary.
- Preparation and checking financial statements for reporting
- Analysis of performance
- Detailed analysis and reporting of other financial data working capital and return on capital, cash flow)
- Reviewing data posted by external systems and other departments for reasonableness and identifying possible errors.
- Preparation of management reports, and periodic financial presentations.
- Assist the preparation of financial budgeting and re-forecasting.
- Assist in other periodic and ad hoc Finance projects (finance and accounting support for commercial transactions, acquisitions, disposals etc.)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified or Qualified (CA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience within the Financial Services and/or Commodities industries would be beneficial
- A good understanding of financial principles, processes and controls, and the purpose of financial and management reporting
- Confident in the use of Excel for manipulating data
