Job Description
- Preparation of business accounts for sole-traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Personal and corporate tax work, including giving tax advice to clients.
- Mentoring and overseeing a trainee accountant.
- Being first point of contact for a small portfolio of clients
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in Accountancy practice
- Exposure to Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Confidence communicating with clients, both in person and over telephone
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience of handling a portfolio of clients
- Ability to prepare spreadsheets and using MS Office
