Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Project Finance Associate Director. Assisting the origination of new business opportunities and execution of financial advisory mandates and lending transactions for the Power/Renewables team, and the Natural Resources and PFI/Infrastructure team as required by the MD.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support financial advisory mandate origination and execution
• Financial Modelling
• Origination and execution of suitable transactions within the identified sectors/geographic areas.
• Ensure that financial advisory mandates are executed with due attention paid to maximizing sponsor returns and in a timely manner
• Ensure that lending transactions are structured to mitigate risks to the appropriate degree
• Credit Application & Pitchbook preparation where relevant
• Coordination of all internal deal related processes Execute such transactions
• Obtain all necessary internal consents and credit approvals
• Contribute to overall professional management of client relationships
• Provide general support and assistance to the team assigned from time to time
• Cross-market and cross-sell where possible including products from other areas of the Bank
• Other duties as may be requested by the Managing Director and/or Team Head in support of the Department’s ongoing business requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Project Finance financial advisory experience
• Financial modelling skills
• Knowledge of project and corporate finance structures, coupled with the ability to develop innovative solutions for the client
• Customer relationship management and marketing skills
• Knowledge of relevant markets and sources of finance
• Middle East transaction experience
• Originate to Distribute experience
• Sector knowledge across Power, Renewables, Natural Resources and PFI/Infrastructure
• Working knowledge of relevant areas of law and accounting
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Banking training or experience
• Project Finance experience
