Job Description
You’ll work closely with the Group Treasurer and Head of Project Finance to analyze and arrange financing across loans, bonds, credit facilities in the corporate and project finance space. You’ll be responsible for preparation, development, analysis and reporting of financial and treasury information. You’ll also have responsibility for broad spectrum of corporate finance activities covering credit ratings analysis, covenant compliance and Group CAPEX financing programmes
You’ll also be monitoring, analyzing and reporting on derivative and other relevant markets, to identify and capture trading windows and provide management information.
Providing analytical support and cover where necessary for the Treasury Managers as required, in areas including, reporting, FX and MM management dealing. Support the Group Treasurer in any other treasury projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or treasury professional (AMCT) with extensive post qualification experience. Ideally with FTSE250 or equivalent with corporate treasury experience. or equivalent experience within a corporate treasury function. A background in the energy / utilities / infrastructure sector would be advantageous.
Experience of assessment of short and long-term funding or large capital projects is needed. Experience in using a Treasury Management System is preferred. You’ll be a self-starter who is commercially aware and action oriented, with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills. You’ll also demonstrate line management experience, as you’ll be responsible for 1 head in the treasury team.
