The role is the primary interface with the Tactical (Campaign) Managers and the Management Accountants for financial planning of margin and commercial campaign costs. You will be responsible for remunerating the Audi retailer network; this will include financial forecast and budget cycle of the margin, commercial campaigns and factory support, in conjunction with the Tactical Planning Manager. You'll oversee the management and reconciliation of Audi margin & tactical campaigns, including accurate and timely payment of campaign support to the retailer network and fleet customers. This truly is a leadership role, reporting into the Tactical Planning Manager in Audi, requiring the ability to present to and represent the views of Senior Managers in a range of scenarios and negotiations.
So what type of person are we looking for? You'll be a qualified accountant with a high degree of attention to detail as well as strong financial planning skills. You'll have the ability to communicate widely across the team with peers as well as at senior management level. You will have a high level of commercial acumen and be able to make choices based on sound judgment. Some previous people management experience would be desirable although not essential.
