Partnering with the business in implementation of business change, considering downstream impacts in financial processing, financial controls and timeliness of data for financial reporting
Provide and maintain an effective reporting over key bank account funds including the reconciliation of key balances and timely requests of further funding being required.
Identify complex or unusual transactions and seek assistance from the wider finance management community if their treatment cannot be clearly understood.
Ensure all financial control policies and accounting manual procedures are maintained and adhered to.
Work with external auditors, providing information in accordance with requests and answering queries in a professional and efficient manner
Monitor and maintain balance sheet integrity through regular reviews
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have solid experience of working within an insurance / Financial Services sector with experience of working within the Financial Operations side of the business and experience of understanding the processing of Claims and Premiums.
It is essential that you have strong computer skills Microsoft packages including Excel.
