The key responsibilities for this Senior Accountant based in Milton Keynes are:

• Preparation of year end accounts, tax returns and P11Ds
• Ensuring deadlines are met
• Managing a varied portfolio of clients
• Manage and maintain client relationships
• Assisting managers with any ad hoc project work required by clients
• Help to develop/train junior members of the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ACCA qualified or Part qualified
• Have at least 2 years practice experience
• Have experience in the following areas:
  • Preparing accounts for limited companies;
  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and other unincorporated entities;
  • Preparing corporation tax computations;
  • Preparing tax computations for unincorporated entities;
  • Preparing personal tax returns.
• Experience of explaining tax liabilities and tax planning opportunities would be ideal but not essential.
