Job Description

Our global top tier Consultancy Professional Services Client are looking for Director or Associate Partner level Treasury Transformation Director & Programme Lead with deep Treasury experience as a core, together with multi-functional programme leadership. The role is based in the UK and the programme is for an Energy client in the Middle East. You would be on rotation in the Middle East for at least 6 months, and an option for 1-2 years afterwards.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible as the overall lead for the global transformation project for one of the largest treasury departments in the world. 
  • The responsibilities as overall lead includes ensuring quality integrated delivery across several interdependent work streams including the strategy and target operating model design ("TOM"), SAP design, data, analytics, finance integration, change management, and interfaces with technology or platforms surrounding SAP
  • Successful delivery of the transformation program requires clear communication with the client's project team as well as senior client stakeholder, provide leadership and accountability across a large interdependent and global team, and provide a clear understanding of the link between the treasury strategy and technology

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of the in-house bank ("IHB") including global cash centralization, netting, advanced forecasting, and payment factories as well as the principles by which systems enable the operations of the IHB at the group and subsidiary levels 
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to present complexities of global treasury initiatives in simple clear slides or papers, with limited jargon, that allow senior stakeholders to understand and make decisions.
  • Strong command of English is necessary to articulate to bring together a clear understanding of progress, phases, dependencies, risks, and support the creation of strong creative communications.
  • Ability to lead a team of up to 25
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential
  • Energy Sector Experience
