Job Description

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for all aspects of the local accounting function, typically but not limited to producing Management Accounts, comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, debtor and supplier control/management, manufacturer composite submissions. You will also become an integral part of the local Management Team, assisting the Dealer Principal in continually growing and developing the business.

The main duties for the role include

• Preparing accounts to a monthly timetable for each franchise
• Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Reconciliation of vehicle stock and monthly vehicle depreciation
• Monitoring of debtors, bonus debtors
• Performing BACS payments as required for settlements.
• Bank reconciliation daily
• Overseeing on site commission schemes for sales and service staff and managers
• Production of payroll information for onward submission to payroll bureau
• Ensuring daily banking for sites
• Overseeing of other accounts and sales administration related staff
• Monthly Manufacturer composite submission.

The candidate will have already spent time working in the motor dealership environment and will be confident in communicating with staff at all levels. We are looking for someone with an analytical mind who is self motivated but willing to work as part of a team.
