Job Description

You will lead the identification, creation, and management of new business relationships with strategic clients, building lasting, revenue generating relationships which result in sales opportunities. This role is accountable for both the growth of revenue across the leadership and development of an experienced team of successful and well established Business Development Managers. The measurement of success being the protection and growth of sustainable revenue.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...

  • Develop, maintain and manage a team of high performing Business Development Managers
  • Accountable and responsible for the team's achievement of new revenue targets
  • Map prospects and processes to support Business Development Managers navigate sales opportunities through to close, identify deal stakeholders, mobilisers and blockers in order to win new business
  • Working closely with regional and Global Product and Client Solutions teams to inform and share client requirements and trends to help Product define the strategy and roadmap
  • Drive marketing and thought leadership initiatives across the segment in collaboration with the Communications & Marketing Team
  • Accountable for the adoption of, compliance with and support of the Iress Commercial team’s ways of working through the roll out of the chosen sales framework, embracing usage of Global CRM, processes, tools and templates
  • Leadership, mentoring, coaching and performance management of team of Business Development Managers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a modern thinker, who looks to the future, striving for better ways of working whilst ensuring practical and commercial outcomes are achieved in the present.
