Job Description

You will be leading industries within multiple sectors across the UK and Ireland (UKI). You will act as a key thought leader, representing Google externally towards customers, and advocating for the respective industries internally.
You will be responsible for a broad range of clients within the Finance and Services space. As the leader, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team of business leaders and promoters that work to understand advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will work with the LCS Leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for this business.
You will be the primary advocate of industry and business models. You will share the opportunities and challenges, and advocate for the priorities for our products.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and activate an annual business plan for the sector, prioritize opportunities and solutions to deliver mutual growth for customers and business.
  • Leverage industry, customer, and business understanding to create and execute quarterly activation plans to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Motivate team for lasting impact through mentoring, installing the right capabilities, and attracting talent while creating opportunities for talent to flourish in an inclusive and respectful team environment.
  • Lead topics such as trading, pipeline management, objectives/key results delivery, resource allocation, and leverage the wider ecosystem to bring the best of Google to customers and teams.
  • Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the overall team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Commercial general management experience in technology, digital transformation, media, advertising or online industries in the UK.
  • Experience in sales mentoring, leading, and developing an execuitve-led team.
  • Experience in influencing and building relationships at the executive decision-making level (C-level) cross-functionally in a multinational organization.
  • Experience driving transformational change with executive stakeholders across diverse markets.
  • Experience delivering outstanding business results/growth.
  • Experience in digital or online marketing.
  • Ability to attract, retain, and develop talent in the marketplace.
  • Ability to build a high performing sales team and an inclusive team culture.
