Job Description

You are responsible for managing a small team ( 2 PQ accountants) and:

• Lead the team on Month End close,
• Review and ensure completion of monthly balance sheet recs,
• Oversee intercompany transactions
• Provide cover for the FC.
• Support on preparing financial statements
• Assist on system implementation

12 month contract offered on a salary (£55,000 - £60,000) or equivalent daily rate basis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Senior Financial Accountant/ Finance Manager needs to have the following experience and skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experienced managing a small finance team.
• Experienced in leading Month End close, Balance Sheet recs, and ideally supporting stat account prep
• Experience in being part of a systems implementation
• Available 3 days per week in the office near Oxford.
• Based in UK with full UK Right to Work.
