Specifically, we are looking for a Product Director to play a critical role in defining the vision and product strategy for CvP while encapsulating strategic thinking, user research and design. With a focus on customers, end users, and their experiences, Product Management represents a shift towards outcomes.

Working with internal teams, customers, and broader Deloitte stakeholders, the CvP Product Director will embody the product thinking philosophy bridging the gap between vision and strategy and turning it into workable options for delivery. You will be passionate, a visionary and help CvP make the best propositional decisions to stand out and be a success in the market.

Your role will require you to:

  • Understand trends, challenges, and opportunities
    • Understand market shifts and patterns (climatic, market evolution) across Digital Banking and define the actions that CvP should take to be successful in the marketplace
    • Work with our in-house research teams to bring user research and design thinking to product strategy and development
    • Understand and have awareness of technology enablers, competitive landscape, Banking products, market and user insights, and design thinking
  • Develop and shape the CvP Product Vision and Strategy:
    • Responsible for shaping the product vision, strategy, and priorities for CvP across Build (Accelerator) and Buy (as a Service) products
    • Accountable for developing and maintaining critical CvP propositional artefacts including product backlog, roadmap, pathways and capability maps
    • Accountable for prioritization and prioritization mechanisms based on economic frameworks (such as Cost of Delay)
    • Build collaborative relationships and work closely with CvP Sponsor, CMO and CTO to co-develop CvP strategic initiatives
    • Collaborate with other Deloitte Member Firms senior to shape Global product governance and represent UK point of views
    • Effectively manage senior stakeholders within Deloitte (e.g., via Global BDAs, Regional SteerCos) and external to Deloitte (e.g., Clients, ecosystem partners, vendors)
  • Define Product Requirements:
    • Work with designers to unlock the power of design to solve challenging problems
    • Work with the CTO and CvP technology function to understand technology enablers and constraints
    • Review and approve significant features / functionality as business acceptance
  • Support Sales Enablement:
    • Promote the CvP product Strategy and its vision within Deloitte and externally to potential Clients
    • Work closely with CvP Go to Market lead and CvP Sponsors to support pursuits, sales opportunities and client discussions
  • Line management and senior stakeholder engagement
    • Accountable for the day-to-day direction and talent development of CvP product team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Awareness of trends, challenges and opportunities across Digital Banking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing client needs
  • Extensive experience with product management mechanics influenced by Lean Product Management, SAFe, Agile and others
  • Experience with various thinking frameworks (such as Cynefin) and mental models (such as First Principle Thinking, Probability Thinking, Second-order thinking)
  • Substantial experience of problem-solving and decision-making, using creative thinking and demonstrating personal resilience
  • Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to priorities multiple asks
  • Ability to provide leadership and management across multiple cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment, taking into account stakeholder requirements
  • Capacity to invest in your own development by staying up to date on climatic patterns and have a broad understanding of the market evolution
  • Ability to provide mentoring in order to develop teams
