Job Description

Due to major investment the opportunity has arisen for a highly commercially motivated FP&A Manager to shape and drive strategically the future technologies area of the business. The role will report into the Director of Finance and will have responsibility for two Finance Business Partners as direct reports. Ideally our client is looking for a FP&A Manager who has experience of accounting around the production process and sales model of the product. For example, this role will need to support the organization with formulating an aftermarket strategy.
You will have autonomy in their role leading the Technologies Finance Business Partnering team and contributing to the commercial success, which will include an exciting array of projects to be involved in. As this is a leadership role, you will be charged with setting target and strategies for effective operating across the Technologies area for your team whilst also taking a hands-on role in the related activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fully Qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Highly analytical and experienced in cost control.
• Able to collate and assess new business cases effectively.
• Ability to manage a team within highly complex environment
• Capacity to quickly identify and analyze risks & impacts, together with effective problem-solving skills.
• Prior management accounting / FP&A experience gained within the engineering/manufacturing/automotive industry
