Job Description

• This role will be responsible for supporting the external audit as well as involvement in various  projects.
• Supporting the production 
• Production of the quarterly Investment and Ratings reporting packs and the financial aspects of the Risk reporting pack (annual).
• Production of investor relations packs.
• Responsibility for responding to and answering queries on the aforementioned reporting packs.
• Supporting the  Reporting Manager in ensuring that the yearend audit process as it relates to the reporting to the parent company runs smoothly.
• Assist the  auditors to ensure that the yearend audit process runs smoothly
• Peer reviewing reconciliations, schedules, notes and other work of other team members
• Maintain excellent working knowledge and fully consider the accounting implications of transactions 
• Supporting technical accounting projects including consultation with other teams throughout the  preparation of technical accounting memos and discussion papers.
• Supporting the maintenance of accounting policies to ensure follows best practice and remain relevant.
