Oversee your team's preparation of timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts for their contracts, providing assistance as and when required, particularly in time of absence or peak activity.
Retain responsibility for your own portfolio of contracts.
Liaise with the senior divisional management teams to ensure they have a good appreciation of their financial results, providing input where required to maximize understanding.
Using data generated to drive margin improvement with better working practices.
Assist the contract management team with pricing periodic contract renegotiations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Project accounting experience
Experience of leading and supporting a high performing finance team
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels, both internally and externally
