Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Working alongside Senior Management and/or Directors to produce the yearly company budget,
- Support Financial Management with treasury, corporate tax, VAT and International and statutory reporting
- Ensures that actual vs. budgeted costs are monitored and controlled
- To develop and maintain a system which controls debtor and creditor functions
- Production of accounts to include; monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, tax returns
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts accurately on a monthly basis
- Manages and maintains the fixed asset register, including rental fleet acquisitions and disposals
- To provide assistance and support to other employees
- Develops the profit and loss process to provide a tool, allowing transparency to the business
- Effectively communicates the financial performance of the business, on a monthly basis,
- Works alongside the Credit Manager to manage key customer accounts
- Identify any improvements to systems that are required and communicate them to senior management
- Supports Company Secretary with the management of the company fleet
- Maintains a reputable reputation by ensuring that all financial matters are legally compliant
- Be a key point of contact during both internal and external audit
- Responsible for maintaining and developing the company Internal Controls System
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified or Finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Audit experience preferred.
- Financial Accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
- Experienced at prioritizing workload and delivering to deadlines
