To advise and support officer’s across the organization on procurement matters.
To conduct a quarterly creditors analysis reviewing spend as appropriate to ensure thresholds are maintained.
To update and maintain the organization’s contracts register
Review of new supplier set up forms from officers
Annually review and update the procurement strategy
Finance
To provide transactional and operational finance support.
To contribute to the completion of returns and claims for grants.
To provide assistance with end of year processes that contribute to the preparation of the Annual Statement of Accounts
To assess the financial and associated implications of draft reports prepared by other departmental officers and report comments to relevant senior officers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Recent experience within procurement ideally with some experience in finance
Ideally from a public sector/not for profit background
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to present information
