Job Description
- The management and delivery of the treasury back office and treasury systems.
- Maintaining robust treasury governance and risk control framework.
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve back office operating performance.
- Review and approval of treasury transactions in the treasury management system (IT2), ensuring the accounting of instruments is accurately recorded in a timely manner.
- Ensure robust accounting of any treasury transaction not booked in IT2.
- Confirmation of external deals & regulatory reporting including EMIR / DTCC.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all transactions.
The role will involve working closely with the Group Treasurer.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You have a University degree - 2.1 bachelor’s degree, or higher e.g. MSc, MBA.
- You have a Treasury qualification (AMCT/MCT). Preference for an accountancy qualification too (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- You have a minimum 7 years’ treasury/accounting/finance experience, ideally in a large multinational corporation.
- You have recent hands on working knowledge of IT2 (or a similar Treasury Management System), treasury accounting and international Treasury matters.
- You have proven people management skills and ability to work within a team.
- You have strong technical Treasury knowledge
