Our client is a highly successful fitness brand offering portfolio of premium studios in London area. They are seeking an Interim Financial Controller with an immediate start and possibility to become permanent role for the right candidate. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting for the company, ensuring all reporting is compliant with accounting standards and relevant legislation. There will be regular interaction with the landlords, the site managers and the Board, so it requires a versatile mind. Other responsibilities will also include supporting Finance Director in developing the internal control policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for the new Appointee will include:

• Management accounting
• Cash-flow forecasting
• Weekly KPI’s
• Running the audit
• Payroll
• Assessing Profit & Loss
• Revenue Recognition
• Balance Sheet Analysis
• Helping with annual business review
• Consolidated accounts with eliminations
• Business Partnering
• Input into financial model
• Complex revenue recognition. Defining the policy and ensuring compliance.
• Accounting system in house: Xero, GSuite, O365 and the booking platforms based on MindBody and Codexfit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Considerable experience in retail / leisure / sport / hospitality sector
• Strong analytical and technical skills
