To produce regular monthly financial management reports and analysis for Senior Management and other budget holders within a specified directorate.
To support the accounting function in its provision of expert advice and support on financial matters to directorates and budget holders by the provision of accurate financial information, effective monitoring of budget performance, analyzing variances and investigating queries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulation relevant to the role
Experience of processing accounting transactions in a recognized accounting software
Experience of working in a finance department including involvement in month-end procedures and at least one complete annual reporting cycle including audit
Achieved or currently studying towards an Accounting qualification
