Job Description

You will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and reporting of conduct risk, working to develop and embed the legal and regulatory framework to ensure that the company and all its related Companies comply with all regulatory requirements.
This is a generalist compliance role that includes monitoring, advisory, regulatory projects and financial promotions. You will be responsible for creating the appropriate departmental monitoring programmes to ensure a robust review process is in place for assessing the company controls and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, you will provide detailed interpretation of statutory regulations and codes of practice as part of the development of compliance-related processes, support initiatives and recommend compliance actions across the business and as part of departmental projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ideally educated to degree level or qualified to Compliance Diploma level 4 or appropriate related qualification
  • Experience of Anti-Money Laundering and Complaints Handling would be beneficial/desirable.
  • Good knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance including FCA handbooks and the legal framework.
  • Proven track record of meeting multiple objectives with evidence of a commitment to the attainment of good practice.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and personal presentation skills, with the ability to deal with the challenges arising from internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
