Our client, an expanding wholesaler in Bury, is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to support them on a permanent basis. You will be working in a small team therefore you must be self driven with strong bookkeeping abilities.
Knowledge of using Xero Accounting software and Excel are an essential part of this role.
Responsibility includes issuing sales invoices, purchase invoice logs, VAT return and adhoc accounting tasks.
· Management of the purchase Ledger
· Dealing with all accounts payable queries
· Raising cheques for payment
· Bank Reconciliation
· Reconciling ledgers
· Reconciling the cashbook
· Processing orders
· Nominal ledger
· Using Sage, Access and Excel
· Assisting with general administration duties
