Job Description
A dynamic and hands on role, the Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity of the business’s reporting to its external stakeholders; for the internal statutory and regulatory compliance and for the day-to-day management of the finance team. It partners closely with the business and closely collaborates across disciplines to support the timely and efficient running of the business.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Review and submission of monthly and quarterly reports
- Production of reforecasts and plans
- Monthly production of dashboard and review of underlying calculations for utilization, profitability - working in close partnership with the business to ensure this is accurate and up to date
- Monthly/quarterly balance sheet review
- Production and review of all statutory accounts and corporation tax reporting requirements
- AME/Payroll management with HR
- Review of VAT reporting
- Sarbanes Oxley reporting
- Managing the relationship with OSSC
- Freelance tracking; reviewing from a cost and compliance (IR35) perspective
- Partnering with client management, new business and senior management to help make financial decisions on behalf of the business
- Review of working capital reporting and monthly cash-flow preparation
- Management and development of the Finance team
