Job Description
- Maintaining financial records and overseeing the financial health of the company
- Preparing financial statements for review by the company's chartered accountant
Responsibilities:
- Processing sales ledger and purchase ledger via online Sage business cloud accounting software
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts via online Sage business cloud accounting software
- Preparing VAT return information for the company chartered accountant to compile and file
- Preparing monthly sales invoices and filing purchase/expense invoices promptly
- Maintaining stock level accuracy via online Sage business cloud accounting software (high levels of accuracy and attention to detail essential)
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing in a timely fashion
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT Level 3 / fully qualified Accounting Technician (MAAT qualified) or applicants similarly qualified by experience Previous bookkeeping experience essential Previous stock control experience preferred
