Job Description

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality and time-sensitive service, preparing monthly management reports to a group of entities that both manage and develop commercial and residential assets.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management reports, to include assets under management and development
  • Report on cash financing activities and exit strategies
  • Provide reports as requested by lenders / investors for review by CFO
  • Forecasting, planning and analysis
  • Ensure reporting is integrated with the accounting system
  • Automating reporting
  • Reviewing project portfolio profitability
  • Track month-end close process to ensure reporting deadlines can be adhered to

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Appropriate accounting qualification – FCCA/ ACA /CIMA
  • Experienced management / reporting accounting
  • Background in Asset Management / Real Estate investment preferred, but not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Knowledge of Xero and other cloud applications would be beneficial
  • Experience of system / process implementations (helpful)
  • Good level of commercial awareness
  • Takes ownership of projects and takes responsibility for quality control
  • Methodical, autonomous and diligent approach with discipline of working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team, with strong people and time management skills
  • Ability to challenge and redefine process
  • Analytical, with demonstrated examples of problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen
