Job Description

Our client are a household name with a strong recognizable brand, due to excellent market conditions, our client has seen record growth and record profits over the past 12 months and are forecasting to produce a similar result next year. Following an internal recruitment process, they have promoted someone into a more senior role, hence leaving an exciting opportunity for an external candidate behind.

The successful candidate will prepare statutory accounts for the large UK entities under IFRS, alongside this the successful candidate will manage and monitor all financial policies including IFRS reporting, financial controls and frameworks. Other responsibilities include being the specialist point of contact for other areas of finance, working closely with SSC and transactions team to ensure processes are followed properly. Alongside this the successful candidate will manage a team of two and support them on growing their career within the large finance function.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have a technical background, either from practice within auditing or a technical finance role within industry. The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA) or QBE. It would be advantageous if the successful candidate has had exposure to financial policies and internal controls.
