Supporting Client Managers with their portfolio, as well as having the ability to manage tasks with multiple clients in a timely and efficient manner
Producing monthly management accounts, monthly accruals and prepayments for various clients. Preparing month end management packs for manager review
Understanding sales workflows and assisting clients with raising sales invoices where needed.
Managing purchase invoices into the accounting system, as well as being familiar with the purchase process and stock systems
Posting all bank payments and receipts, and reconciling bank and cash systems. Preparing pay runs for clients.
Being responsible for maintaining and reconciling certain balance sheet items for clients; being responsible for inter-company transactions and balances; completing bank reconciliations; maintaining the fixed asset register
Preparing and submitting VAT returns; liaising with advisors in processing payroll
Other ad hoc duties as designated by managers in line with the role
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
They must be a competent user of Microsoft packages, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
It would also be advantageous for the successful candidate to be familiar with cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero
