Job Description
- Lead all activity relating to the preparation of management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Prepare financial statements through close partnerships with clients.
- VAT returns.
- CIS.
- Accruals, depreciation and prepayments.
- Lead and inspire a team of accountancy professionals.
- Oversee the development of new projects operationally and strategically.
- Provide a bridge between client account departments and the firm’s internal bookkeeping function.
- Attending meetings and nurturing client relationships.
- Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.
- Business development.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Account Management
- Accountancy
- ACCA, ACA or CA or qualified or qualified by experience with at least three years’ previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, both verbal and written.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- A team player able to bring out the best in others.
- Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
