Job Description
  • Manage Xero accounting, review and enter transactions correctly and consistently
  • Receive expenses claims from staff, set up process for submitting these in a consistent manner, ensure approval and payment
  • Monitor cash position
  • Review customer payments and agree to chase any outstanding invoices with the accounts receivable manager
  • Review the payables and ensure invoices are approved and payments are made in a timely manner
  • Instruct payroll and post to Xero.
  • Ensure payroll payments are posted and balance sheet is reconciled at the end of each month
  • Reconcile the entire balance sheet.
  • Ensure the release of prepayments and accruals where appropriate
  • Post a corporation tax estimate
  • Run the Profit and Loss reports for management to review
  • Book revenue adjustments in line with the front-end system reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ideally qualified or part qualified ACCA or ACA
  • VAT Returns
  • Previous Bookkeeping experience
  • Xero experience is essential
