We have a fantastic opportunity to join a medium sized company as Financial Controller. You will be a qualified accountant with minimum 5 years’ experience and have ACCA/CIMA or equivalent

The role will suit an individual with a keen eye for commercials and operations. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing and welcoming team working in an exciting and fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities will include

• Create, approve, and pay company invoices
• Manage bank account operations for all company accounts
• Manage and optimize cash flow
• Establish and implement process for capitalization of relevant expenditure
• Monthly payroll
• Provide high level analysis and reporting for the Leadership Team
• Produce quarterly business forecasts
• Monitor and report on monthly costs
• Manage tax and VAT reports
• Manage payment processor relationships
• Work with external accountants to ensure smooth and timely delivery of payments
• Coordinate year-end audit and liaise with external auditors and accountants
• Submit financial reports to regulators

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 5 years of external audit experience
• Qualified accountant with broad accounting skills
• Ability to priorities tasks and work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and drive projects through to completion
• Strong problem solving and able to identify, challenge and articulate financial trends
