Job Description

We are recruiting a Finance Transformation Manager to join our team to support and drive forward the digitalization of our finance and business systems. This role will represent the finance function in any change projects and work with the wider team to identify areas of improvement and support/implement those changes. Ensuring there is accurate documentation of the new systems and workflows will be essential to ensure successful delivery of training to the wider finance team. This role is hybrid requiring to be in our Slough office 3 days a week and will required some travel to Amsterdam to support with change initiatives.

• Support the wider finance function if they identify an area of improvement and help them to action the improvements
• Build strong relationships within finance team but with the wider organisation
• Managing project team and activities; responsible for completion of project tasks and deliverables
• Tracking risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, scope changes, actions and decisions, escalating as appropriate
• Managing cut-over of existing processes/systems, including any Data migrations/updates
• Ensuring training, communications and business readiness is fully scoped and managed through delivery

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA) or equivalent
• Degree educated or experience led equivalent
• Experience in managing Finance projects
• Experience in managing Technology projects
• Business Change management
• Stakeholder engagement
• Working knowledge of Finance Systems Integration
• Working knowledge of End-to-End Transformation (support of go-live and post-live activities)
• Good understanding of Finance ERP Systems
• Proven expertise in delivering major Programmes
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and work pro-actively
• Ability to plan, priorities and meet deadlines
