Job Description
Communicate with debtors via phone and email.
Keep customer accounts updated on our accounting system.
Reconcile customer accounts.
Sales Ledger
Alternate monthly invoicing run
Daily cash postings and reconciliation of the bank account on alternate days
Purchase ledger
Maintain Purchase Ledger process, entering invoices and making payments to suppliers
Process payment runs every other
Generate Purchase Orders where necessary
Reconcile statements from suppliers
Administration
Answer the phone and maintain the accounts team group inbox
Corporate Reporting
Monthly reporting using Excel
Other Ad hoc reporting when requested.
Following Department Procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Training can be provided in all areas for this role, but if you have experience in an office/finance environment and an interest in learning more about finance/accounting that would be ideal.
You may also be studying towards or be interested in studying towards your AAT qualification (but not essential).
