We are looking for a committed and self-motivated finance individual to support the finance function in the provision of quality services. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the accuracy of data in the Council’s financial systems, and that submitted in returns, through reconciliations and analysis.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified, or have commenced their AAT studies, have good time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy. The ability to work as part of a team and good analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
Previous experience of working in a finance environment and experience of carrying out statistical analysis and reconciliations is essential. Previous experience of working in Local Government would be an advantage.
