Job Description
Due to a review of the structure of the exams service, three new full-time posts have been created. These roles support delivery of the examinations and mitigating circumstances services. The exams service spans across core stakeholders including Colleges, departments, students and central offices and these roles will interact with all.
The work is varied, and key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the annual cycle of activity relating to examination and/or reasonable adjustment delivery
- Acting as the first point of contact for examination/reasonable adjustments and related enquiries
- Liaising with department administrators on the publication of exam result data
- Delivering exam access arrangements and adjusted modes of assessment (reasonable adjustments)
- Administering the day to day running of examinations and reasonable adjustments
- Ensuring confidential information is stored and shared appropriately
- Making decisions regarding applications for exam access arrangements
- Providing administrative support for examination allowances (post exams)
- Supporting Colleges with guidance regarding examinations, reasonable adjustments and allowances
- Training and coaching other members of the team
- Supporting the exams team or other tasks within the Student Registry if there is demand
