You will be responsible for managing activity on the department’s general ledger and providing high quality financial support to both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, deputizing where necessary, and will play a key role in the Department’s budgeting and forecasting. You will provide expert and high-quality financial advice and guidance to stakeholders ensuring effective and resilient financial processes and controls.
You should be a full or part qualified Accountant educated to degree level, or with equivalent extensive experience. You should possess excellent technical skills in management accounting, reporting, and financial planning and analysis, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and a customer focus are also essential.
