Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and delivering the financial strategy for the Force. Key responsibilities will be supporting the Director of Finance in delivering Financial Management and Business Partnering services to the Force and its strategic partners including statutory reporting, Management Accounting, strategic financial planning, investment appraisal and commercial analysis. The successful candidate will provide leadership to and management of the Accounts team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the forces objectives within agreed resources.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will develop and deliver a culture of team work and flexibility across the Accounts team. Lead and manage the Accounts team, developing a strong team culture across the Corporate Finance Team and the Finance Business Partners. Ensuring the team is appropriately resourced, informed, motivated and trained to meet its agreed performance standard and successfully deliver the departments and Forces objectives, whilst maintaining excellent customer focused service
