Job Description

• Prepare/review and present Company results, financial planning & reporting (including a 5-year Business Plan) to senior leadership in both Morrison Telecom Services and the Telecom Division.
• Oversee short-term forecasting of sales, profitability, work-in-progress and cash
• Manage credit exposure and invoice financing arrangements
• Provide cross-functional stakeholders with MI to support day-to-day business decision making through timely and robust results analysis, driving operational actions and cash collection in partnership with the Commercial Director
• Responsible for monthly Management Accounts (profitability by contract and region), sales recognition and sales accruals, cash flow, and fixed costs (including resource utilization and productivity, where appropriate) to include meaningful variance analysis.
• Lead the Finance team (c. 10 heads of which 2 are direct reports), including professional development of team members and continuous improvement initiatives to driving change both within the team and across the wider business, and manage perception of the function.
• Supporting the company / Commercial Director with commercial activities as required - PQQs, bids and tenders, as well as contract margin analysis and invoice discounting options.
• Working with MGroup Services on ad-hoc Group initiatives such as Treasury policy, Reporting Strategy, Criminal Finance Act (CCO) compliance, and other projects as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experienced Finance lead with post-qualification experience /QBE in a similar sized organization
• Ideally familiar with Shared Service environment
• ACA/ACA/CIMA qualified or QBE
• Experience in managing a team
• Well organized with good time management, able to manage multiple priorities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; including for remote stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills
