Job Description
  • Provides direction to key stakeholders with respect to financial management, resource prioritization and optimizing headcount including headcount forecasts for financial and real estate planning.
  • Effective business partnering to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget and to generate operational plans and strategy.
  • Reviews, analyses, and prepares recommendations for preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles.
  • Provides direction and generates actionable insights on the state of the business to key stakeholders via performance tracking, forecast accuracy, and partnering to maximize profitability.
  • Responsibility includes monthly close and recurring business review preparation.
  • Provides financial perspective to senior business leaders to define and enable solutions in support of critical strategic and financial initiatives to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Applies advanced understanding of the clients business, market, and drivers of shareholder return to ensure senior leaders are presented with the most relevant data, insights, and recommendations necessary to support strategy execution.
  • Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward looking narratives and forecasts.
  • Implements creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions and clearly communicate findings. Generates actionable plans based on complex results, ambiguous findings, and multi-year time horizons.
  • Maintains comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures and controls that span financial, non-financial disclosures, and accounting operations.
  • Builds commitment between business leaders and internal audit team.
  • Partners with other support areas (Tax, Internal Audit) to drive compliance and controllership objectives. Anticipates and mitigates emerging statutory, tax, regulatory, and fiduciary risks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or equivalent certification.
  • 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in the technology or software industry.
