Reviewing and analyzing of the monthly management accounts and understanding of variances against previous year and budget to communicate to senior management
Preparing budgets and forecasts
Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and margins
Challenging existing processes and making recommendations driving continuous efficiency and improvements
Preparing and reviewing sales reports
Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
Assisting external auditors and assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation
Contributing to the larger strategic objectives of the organization
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified, ideally a finalist)
Previous experience of preparing management accounts
Basic understanding of financial transactions including double entry bookkeeping
