Establishing a budget and reforecast, assisting teams with predicting income and expenditure, and helping them make sound financial decisions
Providing internal quarterly reports
Facilitating the preparation of the year end accounts and managing a relationships with external stakeholders and working closely with the wider team to ensure this is done in a timely manner.
Attending regular finance and trustee meetings to report on finances of the charity
Overseeing payroll and accurate leaving using the HR system
Ensure that the charity's culture is promoted and embedded in the organization's culture on an ongoing basis
Ensuring payroll is submitted in a timely manner
Ensuring clarity over salary progression, developing a clear and transparent pay structure
Ensuring retention and effectiveness of our well-being programmer, support the design and delivery of staff appraisal processes
Staying alert to any changes in financial regulations and legalizations
Making sure our commitment to diversity and equality is embedded throughout recruitment processes across the charity
Maintaining accurate budgets and reporting for grant funding, including tracking restricted funds
Managing the charities internal bookkeeping, payment, and accounting processes, and making continuous improvements to them
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) is desirable
Previous experience working in senior management position in finance
