Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Manage a team of financial accountants, conducting regular performance reviews, 1-1s, providing support, coaching, monitoring the deployment of resources and onboarding
- Lead preparation of regular reporting packs, annual budgets, monthly management accounts and consolidated financial statements
- Manage outsourced service providers
- Coordinate statutory audits for a portfolio of companies
- Preparing and reporting group cash flow for a portfolio of companies
- Deal with lender compliance, prepare utilization/drawdown requests and ensuring sufficient cash in reserves
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA, with five years PQE and graduate with 1st class academics
- Strong experience in management accounting and reporting in fast paced, growing businesses
- Experience managing a portfolio of companies and responding to customer queries or requests
- Exposure/experience within the renewable energy or energy sector
- Project finance or lender engagement experience and comfortable working with complex financial models
- Excellent people manager with experience supporting and motivating finance professionals
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely
- Must be hands-on, multi-tasker with excellent time management skills able to work in a dynamic environment
