Accounts Assistant
Full-time, Temporary
Job Description
  • Complete new customer checks 
  • Company's customer onboarding procedures
  • Perform credit checks on new and existing customers
  • File and organize financial documents for audit trail
  • Maintain customer records 
  • Raise down payment and sales invoices in multiple currencies in ERP system and send these to customers
  • Raise credit notes in system and process refunds
  • Collect proof of payment documents from customers where required
  • Allocate cash received from customer across multiple bank accounts
  • Respond to internal and external queries and resolve efficiently
  • Monitor customer balances and prepare and send payment reminders 
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts  and monitor actuals against forecast
  • Assist with month-end financial administration
  • Liaise between Finance Director and Financial Accountant/Manager for other ad hoc finance admin duties relating to reporting, accounting and VAT

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills
  • Good understanding of sales process (Sales order to invoicing flow)
  • Punctual, polite and work autonomously
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred but similar is ok)
  • Experience working in multi-currency business
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to adapt
  • Ability to improve business process
