This exciting role is responsible for supporting Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) in achieving its business goals through the strategic development, planning and delivery of innovative and effective sponsorship and event activities.

• Supporting the definition of the sponsorship & events strategy for Corporate & Commercial Banking.
• Delivering IRL, virtual and hybrid events, including, but not limited to, roundtables, summits, dinners, exhibitions, conferences, hospitality experiences and roadshows.
• Managing key stakeholder, supplier and partner relationships in support of the defined sponsorship and events strategy.
• Collaborating with the wider Marketing teams to develop innovative and creative sponsorship and event activities utilizing assets within our wider sponsorship portfolio and marketing plans.
• Upholding the highest ethical standards managing financial crime and compliance risks across all sponsorship and event activity and ensuring all activity is in line with all relevant policies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience of event and sponsorship management and delivery, with experience of working in the B2B space.
• Proven project management skills and demonstrable experience managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• A keen interest in the events industry, latest trends and the ability to translate these into their work is an advantage.
• Digitally competent with a curious and open mind to trying new technologies to enable agile ways of working.
• Distinct advantage to have virtual event and wider broadcast experience.
• Business and commercial acumen with experience in financial services a distinct advantage.
• Ability to manage and report on all budgets and finances for own projects.
