Job Description
You will manage two Stock Condition Surveyors and an Asset Surveyor. With your considerable experience and expertise, an important part of your role will be to mentor, coach and develop our surveyors to provide critical data on our properties, used to build our investment works programmes and ensure Decent Homes compliance.
- You will lead on the collection of stock condition data.
- Ensure homes new to Paradigm are successfully on boarded onto the asset management database.
- Develop investment programmes for component replacements and cyclical works.
- Contribute to budgeting for proposed investment work with the data team to intelligently profile investment demands throughout a 30 year plan.
- Ensure proposed programmes of work are appropriately validated.
- Provision of qualified and comprehensive advice and support on a range of issues that will ensure effective investment in the property asset portfolio within regulatory constraints.
- Managing Stage 1 Complaints related to key accountabilities.
- Effectively managing, coaching and developing the Stock Condition and Asset Surveyors.
- Contribute to reports and policy, and develop process and procedure associated with stock investment, asset data collection and business planning.
- Manage the stock condition surveying function through analysis of property data, management of stock condition and surveys and any other appropriate intelligence collection media.
- Build and develop a team of stock condition and validation surveyors to deliver stock condition and capital investment programmes.
- In conjunction with data team and wider organization, refine asset intelligence to capture priority issues and vulnerabilities.
- Assist the Head of Asset Appraisal in making decisions in relation to options appraisals/regeneration opportunities.
