Job Description

We are actively looking to appoint a Finance Manager who will deliver timely and accurate management of accounts for business units within the group.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and analyzing of the monthly management accounts and understanding of variances against previous year and budget to communicate to senior management
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and margins
  • Challenging existing processes and making recommendations driving continuous efficiency and improvements
  • Preparing and reviewing sales reports
  • Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
  • Assisting external auditors and assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation
  • Contributing to the larger strategic objectives of the organization

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified, ideally a finalist
  • Previous experience of preparing management accounts
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Experience using Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and basic formulas)
  • Basic understanding of financial transactions including double entry bookkeeping
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the business
