Job Description
The finance controller is a key business partner to all the brand’s local teams (marketing, merchandising, sales, retail) and central team. They are in charge of producing the adequate management reporting, coordinating the preparation of budgets, providing ad-hoc analysis as well as recommendations to the brand’s management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly reporting for parent company (P&L, B/S).
- Prepare monthly actuals by cost center (Budget Holder reports), and participate to their analysis (variance, risk & opps) and participate to the analysis of ad-hoc reports (A&P, P&L by Customer, P&L by channel, P&L by product line).
- Prepare monthly management reporting with executive summary and ad-hoc analysis.
- Prepare information for Management meetings.
- Provide analysis of main variances between actuals & Budgets, identify and report any risks and opportunities arising from those variances.
- Prepare budgets and revisions in accordance with guidelines and timeline provided by HQ and local general management.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on specific cost control projects (Capex, Staffing)
- Help to implement system updates to comply with company reporting needs
- Participate to the respect of internal control rules and processes in place.
- Provide support in relation with the annual external audit and any internal audits.
