Job Description

The Finance Operations Director will be responsible for leading the strategic development of global Finance Operations to standardize and simplify the approach, processes and controls for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and other transactional processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Finance Operations strategy and align it with the Finance vision, ensuring that the right processes are delivered by the right people in the right locations.
• Accountable for managing the implementation of the Finance Operations strategy and the transition from current to target state.
• Support continued company growth, driving operational excellence within Finance Operations, enhancing the service for our key stakeholders and colleagues.
• Lead and manage change, driving continuous improvement within Finance Operations including automation of manual processes.
• Leverage technology and innovation to deliver scalable, sustainable and resilient processes and controls for Finance Operations.
• Engage and partner senior stakeholders, proactively identifying and responding to needs with tactical and strategic recommendations to ensure efficient and effective operational processes alongside robust controls.
• Lead, develop and coach a high performing and collaborative extended Finance Operations team which: has high levels of system expertise; a companywide reputation for delivery and accuracy; embodies the values and one firm ethos of Control Risks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience at director level.
• Extensive experience in Finance Operations role.
• Track record in delivering and implementing strategic plans.
• Able to drive organizational transformation and change.
• Qualified accountant.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules for purchase, sales and general ledger.
